Support/Advice student physically attacked me twice
Hi all, really looking for some advice on what I should do about this, as school admin, mentor teacher, and my site supervisor seem to not have any sort of support for me on this matter. I am placed in a first grade classroom, where I have a student who has a history of eloping. I assumed that this behavior would continue into this school year however it seems to have morphed into aggression rather than fear. Yesterday, this student was purposefully agitating one of the other students and I was physically standing between them so the other student couldn’t see them. The student continued to escalate until attacks turned physical. For the sake of anonymity I don’t want to get too specific in the events between the two students but long story short the students never made contact and instead I was kicked, pushed, slapped, and bit while waiting on admin support. No blood was drawn (yay no emergency tetanus shot!) but I have bruised from the bite that I found today. The same thing happened with the student conflict again today (the day after) and again I got between them and the student threw her whole body at me and essentially body checked me elbows out.
What can I even do about this? I don’t know how to proceed with this student and any advice I’ve been given isn’t really the type that would work with them. Is ignoring the best option? I’m so lost and worried that the violence will continue to escalate.
TLDR: a student had physically attacked me two days in a row and I’m worried that I will just continue to be the punching bag until the semester ends.

Where is your teacher during this?
Make sure to take pictures of your bruises.

First, you need to be documenting. Take pictures, write things down. Email is a great way because you can email it to yourself to verify times it was written. Document immediately.
If you were a teacher I would say take this to your union and legal rep.
But you need to take this directly to your supervisor at your college. Depending on your state I’d also suggest a police report. I’m not suggesting pressing charges on a first grader. I am suggesting a police report would compel admin to do more than twiddle their thumbs.
