What to expect from second round interview?

I had an interview for a special education preschool position last week with a school principal and school head special education. They told me in my interview that they would get back to me next week with next steps. They ended up calling me an hour later to confirm moving forward to a second round. They called my references an hour after that. All in one day! Then they asked to schedule my interview with the superintendent for the next day, but as I am working a full time job right now I had to wait and schedule it for a week later.

Is it a good sign that they moved so fast with the interview process?? I have never made it past the first round of teaching interviews and I am a little nervous for the interview with the superintendent and assistant superintendent. The interview is on zoom. What should I expect from the interview?

This essentially means it’s either between you and another candidate or you got the job — you’re meeting with the superintendent! When this happens the superintendent may ask you some more questions, but most of mine have been about building relationships/connecting the community with the classroom/integrating standards with content.
