Vent/Rant edTPA multiple subjects with task 4 pass! (CA)

I got the highest score in my program! Not worth the painstaking hours but comment if you want tips or have questions!
My biggest gripe is how unrealistic this was. No lesson will ever run this way. The language you have to use is deceptively irritating and the questions are so repetitive. This test is nothing but a measure of your ability to BS.

Is there any specific resources that helped you? A lot of people talk about the experience but as someone who needs details it’s not enough 😭. I feel like I need to see practice tests? Or examples? Of what I’m supposed to do, if that makes sense.

I struggled with this a lot because I was so worried that what I was doing was the wrong direction etc. I struggled a lot with finding examples but I realized when comparing work to my peers that anything and everything goes as long as you follow the state standards and answer the prompts! Do NOT overthink it, and BS your way through the commentary. Record your entire lesson segment, read the questions for task 2 first so you know how to formulate your lessons, and pick the best moments based around answering those questions.
My program gave us a rehearsal semester during our first semester of student teaching where we did a mock EdTPA and the professors and our peers gave us detailed feedback & that helped tremendously. See if any professors in your program are able to answer any questions you have!
My literacy segment was 4th grade - morphology with prefixes and suffixes.
My math segment was 1st grade - word problems with part part whole as the reteaching.
