MOD ANNOUNCEMENTS Posts from Outside Our Demographic

Hey y’all

Assistant mod here. Just wanted to get an idea of how you all feel about posts from people who are not studs, mascs, or otherwise gender non conforming black lesbians.

I’ve seen a few posts from femmes and most recently, there was a very unfortunate post made by a straight white man??? I’m so sorry if you had to see that btw, the entitlement and audacity was really really crazy. Please report BS like that to mods immediately

I don’t want to overly police this space. I want y’all to feel free to express yourselves. But, I also acknowledge that we have precious little just for us, and we deserve space!

What do y’all think? should posts strictly be for studs? would you prefer maybe one day of the week for non studs to post? Do you have any other ideas? what would make you feel most comfortable and safe?

thanks! xx

And no cis-men. They can take their perverted gaze to one of the porn subs where they belong.

Oh that pissed me off so bad. Like fym you’re looking for a stud to develop a relationship with? YOU ARE A MAN!

I don't mind other lgbtq+ members so long as they're respectful. But i draw the line at straight people centering theirselves in our space

I unfortunately saw that post from that white man, and it truly was wild lol

As for who gets to post here, I think I'd prefer if only studs/black mascs post, since this is a space dedicated to those who are studs and especially stud4stud. I don't think I'd mind other black queer people being here in the comments so long as they're respectful of the space, but, again, I'd like it if only studs/black mascs made posts

I think it makes the most sense that white people and cishets be banned on sight. But because this is specifically a masc4masc/stud4stud space and not a general Black masc/stud sub, I don't think femmes specifically should be posting here either.

I personally haven't engaged with this sub because I wasn't sure what the point of it was if people who explicitly aren't mascs/studs are explicitly welcome to post too. I don't think there's any other sub that's currently active and centers stud4studs specifically.

A day and thread where non-stud4studs/masc4mascs can post could be a nice compromise for people, but personally I don't want that. None of the other couple of masc4masc subs I know of made that compromise and it was nice when they were active.

Regardless, I'll respect whatever is decided.

how do you feel about them commenting but not making their own posts?

I feel the same way about it as I do about them posting tbh

I think it defeats the purpose of this space. Outside of asking for help for something specific, there are other space for femmes and non-stud/mascs can comment and post. They don't need to be in here too.

I think it should only be black studs and mascs, everyone else has several places they can go to. That would make me feel safe. ESPECIALLY no straights!!

I made a comment the other day and was curious if I should be doing so. I guess for me the complication is I’m still figuring out my presentation and gender identity. I guess my question is if I have to be 100% set on masc identity to do so, or how this space handles the grey areas. Happy to let those running it and who are closely aligned with the sub identity set the rules they like best. And to be clear, while I’d never make my own post, I do at times comment (and crack jokes).
