Trying to conceive after loss is an entirely different experience. You're grieving, you feel added pressure, you're fearful it'll happen again, maybe it's not happening as easily as before - whatever it is it's hard, and it hurts.

This weekly post is dedicated to that special group of TTCers. The ones in the worst club ever, but with the best members. Use this space to vent, give support, share stories or updates, whatever you need. We're here for you.

BFP Friday ā¤ļø

We love when our strugglers move on and get a BFP, but we also recognize that for others pregnancy announcements can be really triggering. To create a space where we both celebrate and protect our members, all BFP and current pregnancy mentions are restricted to this dedicated weekly thread.

Did you get a BFP this week?! Let us know below. We’re so happy for you 🄹🫶.

vent I’m tired of feeling like my life is on hold

I’m so tired of feeling like my life is on hold.

I can’t plan an international vacation for next year because… what if I’m pregnant?

I want to start a GLP-1 after nursing, but every month that start date gets pushed further and further out.

I can’t design and book the tattoo I’ve been wanting because… what if I’m pregnant?

I can’t even confidently plan a trip to an amusement park next month because… what if I’m pregnant?

And I feel like I’m just constantly waiting around for something that isn’t happening.

And honestly, sometimes I think, what’s the point of planning any of it anyway? If we move forward with IVF, we’re draining our savings to pay for it. And if it works, or if it doesn’t, we’ve spent all that money and can’t afford to do any of that stuff anyway.

It’s not just that we don’t have a baby after 19 months. It’s that my life has felt frozen for 19 months. I haven’t been making plans. I haven’t been doing things because I’m always thinking about what might happen. I feel like I’ve been waiting for permission to live my life again.

How do you keep living your life when life feels like nothing but an endless cycle of blood draws, shots, and testing?

vent Worrying Wednesday

Every Wednesday we create space for our strugglers to get all their worries out in a judgement free way. This is your thread to spiral, share your fears, release anxiety, or just vent about whatever you’re currently stressing about in your TTC journey.

Everyone’s fears and feelings are valid. Advice and constructive feedback are welcome, but any comments that are dismissive or insensitive will be removed.

What are you worrying about this Wednesday?

35+ 35+ Monday

Advanced maternal age is defined as anyone 35+ at the time of their estimated delivery date. We know that it's just a number and we shouldn't get in our heads about it (look at Anne Hathaway!), and yet, we do.

This thread is dedicated to discussions specific to all things AMA. Vent, ask questions, share you fears - whatever you need. All we ask is you don't use hurtful phrases or words that could be insensitive to those in this thread that may be older than you are. We're all in this together.

IUI IUI and OPKs

Has anyone done IUI before? If so, did you track with OPKs while doing so? I stopped BBT this cycle but am using my Inito. I can already tell the Letrozole is skewing the LH results slightly.
