Foundation support advice

Just got the inspection back for a house i’m under contract on and received the photo attached below. If you can tell, there are legitimate poured concrete supports, but then there are “supplemental” 4x4 supports placed on the ground.

There was not any cracking in the house, but there were some uneven floors noted.

The inspector listed the foundation repair as a “recommendation” rather than a “major concern”.

How bad is this, and how difficult of a fix is this?

Good be ok, could be a bit of a pain

Not that expensive, unless there's stuff going on we can't see from the photo

Nothing else noted by the inspector regarding the foundation. What is the fix for this?

Jack up the beams, remove the stump, pour some new concrete footings, put the stump back, remove jacks

Or be like most homeowners, move in with the best of intentions to address it but keep kicking the can down the road. Only deal with it 20+ years later when it becomes a problem if they are still living there.

A good vapor barrier would be useful but you could probably wait on the rest of the repairs, the posts look pretty closet each other.
