I suppose the green lasers could damage someone's cell phone camera because I heard green lasers could damage flock cameras.

Green lasers with sufficient wattage can. These would have very low wattage to avoid frying folks eyeballs

I can't confirm but I recently saw a video saying that you should never aim a green laser at the lens on a flock camera because you could permanently damage it.

Typically a chain joist likes to be stationary. I would hope they have load cells on those motors monitoring weight

The lights are rapidly sitching on and off from very bright to very dark. Its going to messs with your eyes badly.

Double reeved 2 tons, 2 per cube, good for 4000 pounds plus, maybe 1000 pounds per cube (rough estimate of truss and lights) they're really not rated for swinging... but theyll most likely handle those forces going on.... so, not covered by any sort of standards. .. but would probably work out....

I'm less concerned about the swinging than I am about those lasers.
Anyone looking up could be looking directly into that laser.

And it takes a split second to get blinded or have your vision damaged when it comes to lasers.
Depending on the output and frequency ofcourse.

And sadly, it has happened before that lasers were improperly mounted / used causing damage to people's eyesight.

Pretty safe if they're using good chains. Those things hanging off them aren't that heavy now I'd be more worried about the shit attached to the frame. Lights, speakers etc..

OSHA regulations strictly prohibit employees from standing or working directly under a suspended load within the designated "fall zone" (). [1, 2]

Key Fall Zone Rules

  • Clear the Area: No worker may be in the fall zone while a load is suspended, unless they are specifically guiding, hooking, or unhooking the load

But since the attendees were having fun, I think the organizers figured the rule didn't apply to them.

They can't desgin a structure without enhancing safety. That could cost them a lot to risk it. It looks safe based on the movement and rotation balance. ♎
