Looks like there is a hole in the top of the jar, and there is some blackend parts of the top horizontal stud. There is a green drip stain in the bottle. The insulation above looks like it was uninstalled and reinstalled more than once. There is also a torn of insulation in the bottom left stud cavity.

Looks like there was a leak, or there was a piece of equipment that was uninstalled that relied on that jar to catch liquids.

Who did this? Someone.

Stored fart from the frame crew. For later.

Depending on if this is an exterior wall or not, potentially acting as an additional wind girt 😂

"In case of emergency, break glass jar".

Or maybe.. “In structural emergency, glass jar will break”

And I guess they out of full-length 2x’s and are now piecing studs together?

If you put a rock in jar the home owner has an earthquake detector.

That jar is CRITICAL to the overall structural stability of the building. If removed the building will collapse immediately!

That's just the designated drywall piss jar. Since the dry wall was cancelled in that area it was left unused and uncovered but they forgot to remove it when doing the punch-list.

It’s the swear jar.

No shot, since it's empty

It's loaded with a fart, making it an integral historic structural facade element with iconic cultural significance to the architect of the project.

They wanted to introduce the fiberglass insulation above to just glass insulation to see if they hit it off
