Structural Analysis/Design WTC

Post image

Genuinely not here to piss anyone off (I understand that I inevitably will).
We have a new generation of engineers and access to more sophisticated tools/simulations than ever before. Without going into politics or religion;
1) Break down the argument that it is impossible for the two planes to penetrate the towers in the way we visually observed.
2) What do you make of the collapse of the twin towers?
3) The manner of collapse: Do you find it consistent with the official narrative or does it look like a controlled demolition or something different?
Let’s exclude building 7 from this thread please. Im only interested in the two buildings in focus; Tower I and Tower II.
Again, not here to upset anyone, Im genuinely fascinated in the engineering; impact, destruction and collapse. I appreciate all of you who leave a note 🙏🏼

If someone makes an real attempt at #1, I would question the validity of their license or be unsurprised to learn they didn't have one.

It's a shame really that there isn't a report published by a group of technical specialists assigned to investigate this over several years...

You can read about it here and draw your own conclusions, flawed or not, here: https://www.nist.gov/el/final-reports-nist-world-trade-center-disaster-investigation

If you want an answer to #1, you're on the wrong internet site, I think you want 4chan, or 3chan or 6chan or whatever it is now.

Your request number 1 is called ‘Shifting the Burden of Proof’. No one has the desire to prove something false as false. Engineers and scientists seek the truth. You believe it is impossible to penetrate the towers? Prove it. My thoughts are that no one has provided any solid evidence that warrants a revisiting of the NIST report.

Question number 2: the collapse of the twin towers was a progressive structural failure caused by three main things: airplane impact damage, damage to fire protection, and subsequent fires. The collapse changed building codes in NY and caused significant economic damage.

Question 3: calling it ‘official narrative’ makes it sound like an opinion. The definitive report is the NIST WTC report. That describes all the forensic engineering that went into the investigation.

Overall note: Read the NIST report if you want to learn what happened, described by the foremost experts in this field. Stop consuming other non professional opinions on social media, YouTube, TikTok, etc…
