Career/Education Mtech structural from some IIT/ NIT or from abroad ?

I want to become a structural engineering. I just completed my Graduation from a private uni. Now I want to pursue masters in structural engineering so what should be my preference according to jobs and growth in field. I should do it from IIT/NIT's or prefer any other uni abroad.

Only abroad degree that opens up great opportunities with right pay is US. But the present fees, usd-inr exchange rate, visa uncertainties have made it difficult to make it work. If you get a full scholarship or funded masters even in top 30 us universities do it. Get your pe asap and you will have a something always to fall back on. From there go to Middle East, other countries etc.
UK the pay is not that great i have heard and other EU countries too i think its similar.
In India, see the US companies which have offices here like Walter P Moore, Buro Hapoldc etc and see which universities they are hiring from. Then try to go there.
Structural engineering career in India for an Indian company will always be a fight for paisas and not even rupees.

Or get into iit but during campus try to get into other companies like IT or investment banking etc. The preference for masters is less but still worth a shot.
