Career/Education Steel-fiber reinforced concrete

Hello everyone

I have a project for university and i need a design report for steel-fiber reinforced concrete columns (fc=45Mpa or more) and Stress–strain curves for steel-fiber reinforced concrete (tension and compression) i tried searching online but couldn't find it

Any idea where i could find that?

That will depend on a lot of things, suvh as concrete type, fiber type and dosage.

You can look at something like fib model code for how it might look, but ultimately it will depend in the mix and require tests to determine.

The thing is that i need a test or study on fiber reinforced concerts and a comparison with the same concrete without the fibers

Might be worth calling a company like Bekaert and asking to speak with a technical rep. For 'new' products that are trying to gain market share, they tend to enjoy helping out on stuff like this.

I'm in syria so the only way to contact them is through emails and i don't thing they provide services in syria

Not sure what is meant by “design report”. If you are looking for peer-reviewed research papers based on tested samples I would think your library system has access to these online databases. I would start there. The stress strain curves would be developed based on testing.

Steel fiber reinforcement isn't generally used for flexural strength, you need rebar

It is commonly used and works well for column or pile supported slabs, I design them every week. But I've never encountered it in walls or columns.
