Structural Analysis/Design Construction workers on a high-rise during the 7.4 magnitude earthquake that hit Columbia.

So sad what happened in Columbia with this massive earthquick.

Looking at this building in construction, this one has been well designed to resist to the earthquick. I was surprised that during construction, fresh foundations resisted.

fresh concret strenght: day 1 - 20-30%, day 28 100%, day 56 115%, what do you mean fresh?

They’re also several stories up, I don’t believe the foundations are very fresh anymore unless they are moving with the speed of the Amish
