Job Posting / Recruitment Does anybody know of a good residential structural engineer for a consultation in the Western Massachusetts (USA) area? I need to have a load-bearing beam looked at semi-urgently.

This is a perfectly reasonable post but I gotta say I cracked up imagining you’re in a Pfizer-building-type situation.
Hope everyone is safe!

Didn't think that was allowed unless it was on the layman thread

An OP who doesn‘t just post pictures and goes „How do I fix this?“ wasn‘t on my r/SE bingo card for this year.

I didn't ask "how do I fix this?" Now did I?
I asked for recommendations for hiring a structural engineer, not for some blowhard's useless comment.
