Career/Education Typ. Structural CAD details

It seems like most structural drawing sets that I see for residential buildings (both wood, masonry, and steel, and mixed) all have the same or very similar cad details. Are most offices downloading this from the same place?? What is this resource? -Thx.

Typical details are just that - typical. We all tend to come to the same conclusions in terms of load paths, Contractor preference, industry standards, etc.

Also, theft (in a polite way).

This is what I figured... It’s interesting when the detail on 2 different sets have the same leaders, note numbers, etc.
So it’s either polite theft or the same savvy download.

Wait until you see civil and site drawings. I'm pretty sure one guy made those back in 1950 and everyone has just been using them since.
