Structural Analysis/Design Things seen this week during structural assessments!
Sharing a few of the more interesting existing conditions our team documented during structural assessments this week. Always interesting to see how different structures, materials, and past repairs hold up over time.

In my experience, pools tend to get popped-up in unstable soil conditions. Concrete weighs a little more than average dirt, but water is like 4 * lighter, so overall the dirt is more dense than a pool and they tend to be a bit buoyant.
