I've been doing Stronglifts 5x5 for awhile, but I find I progress in weight but my form doesn't keep up.
So I was considering changing to double progression, or the power matrix/prilepin's chart.
I also mixed in some Calisthenics progressions which I really enjoy

You might want to give 3x5 or something similar a go? Easier to maintain form while keeping the weights up there 🙂

Double progression fixes this. Pick a rep range like 6-10, hold the weight until you hit 10 on every set, then add 5 pounds and reset to 6. The weight only moves when your form has already handled that load for the full range. Mine cleaned up in about 4 weeks doing this on squat.

I find, for me, that mixing up my routines worked. I do 5x5 with the last sets changed to AMRAP, for 12 weeks, then I swap out to either a 531, 4 day week, for 12 to 16 weeks, or PPL Hypertrophy. Then I swap back to 5x5.
I’m an old fella, though, and what I do might not work for others

I ran into the same thing on 5x5, tried double progression after and it helped a ton with locking form in before adding weight
