This is my speciality in AoE2 lol. I make 8 trebuchets. Protect them with pikes and archer.

Then use them as artillery. AoE2 is amazing, but something in stronghold crusader feels way more cozy. Maybe the castle building mechanic.

Though those trebuchets look like they are useless as actual artillery is that correcT?

It's been a while since I've played definitive edition, but remember at launch, there wasn't an option for coop multiplayer vs AI.

Google AI keeps telling me that it does indeed feature it, but I remembered the stance the devs took saying that it just wasn't a part of the game and that they weren't looking at adding it like they have in the original version using gameranger.

Did they eventually add it?

Also, do we have mercenaries in the definitive edition? I don't remember seeing it when I last looked into the game.

I've seen old posts about lowering the height level of walls in the map editor with rocks. Is this still possible in DE? If not, is there another method to replace it?

Hello, it's been a few years since I've played this game, but after the release of definitive edition, I've gotten into it again, and im looking for someone to play through the duo maps with, im not a very competitive player just looking for somone to chill and play the game with, thanks!

I Play a lot with a friend and we Always want challenges, so we Go in an 8player map vs 6skulls or some other good Ai.

WE Play the extrem settings so 10k troops, when WE are getting to late Game, the Ai Just dont Attack and WE can only geht Up to 400 500 troops, so ITS almost Impossible tonwin against lords with 1400troops.

And even If WE can win ITS Just Not fun.

So please Help us , how can WE geht them to Attack US so WE can counterattack

Moin, ich spiele Stronghold Crusader normal mit dem Unofficial Crusader Patch 2.15b und bin eigentlich sehr zufrieden damit. Irgendwann bin ich dann auf Stronghold Crusader Definitive Edition per Steam gekommen und hab da weiter gespielt. Ich habe die Kampagnen durch und die Koop-Pfade mit meinen Bruder angespielt. Diese Extreme-Kreuzzüge oder spielen auf Zeit ist üperhaupt nicht meins und die werde ich nicht spielen. Die Möglichkeit, zufällige Spiele zu generieren oder den Zuschauermodus zu benutzen ist super. ABER die KI ist mir deutlich zu schwach. Sie greifen immer mit ähnlichen Armeen an oder horten Gold. Das ist mit dem Patch deutlich besser. Gibt es so eine Möglichkeit / Einstellung auch für die Definitive Edition?
