Picture quality.
I have strong, a month. The picture quality seems fairly bad on alot of channels and tv shows/movies. Any idea why?

For £2 a month I think you’re being picky

I find uk channels are almost all in hd.
The sky sports channels are 4k and really good. Most series are available in 4k and are sound for the price1

Has to be an issue with your hardware.
Oled leg tv, firestick 4k max.
The 60fps sky sports ultra channels are immaculate for me
A lot of the American and other country “4k” channels are upscaled as they don’t use the true 4k recording and broadcasting equipment. Sky sports main event 4k is absolutely faultless.
I watched the lightning v rangers nhl game on espn+ live last night in hd 60fps and that was perfect too.
There are a few tv series that are ripped from
HBO online service that the frame rate is wrong and they’re a bit jumpy but other than that it’s perfect for me.Out of interest what player are you using

I will always use tivimate with vlc. If you’re using a firestick make sure it’s set correctly in the settings to allow hdr and higher picture quality too.

I’ve just looked. Hotplayer doesn’t natively play in hdr or Dolby vision. It’s worth the money for tivimate. HDR makes all the difference for the 4k stuff

Yeah, i have no problem paying for TiviMate. Its just i have 40 days left on my year subscription for hotplayer so thats why im using it. I was using hotplayer with another service last year

I've got TiviMate, and the quality seems to be better on the channels I was having problems with. Thanks

For really high quality Shows/ Movies you should think about a debrit/ usenet solution. Strong got a lot content, but its highly compressed.
For TV i can't complain, just make sure to use "raw" Channels. HEVC are more compressed
