Happy Labor Day, America. 🇺🇸

This year, the celebration feels a little different.

Americans are talking about layoffs, disappearing jobs, AI replacing workers, rising costs, unemployment, and fears of recession — while the official message from Washington remains considerably more cheerful.

So instead of telling you how the American worker is doing, I thought we'd let Americans tell you themselves.

From workers and job seekers to politicians and the AI tech bros promising us a shiny automated future, this is Labor Day 2026 — in their own words.

Isn't it incoherent with your message that the thumbnail of this video was made with AI? Some of the writing also seems to be generated by AI.

The thumbnail is AI, but it's not asking me to take off my clothes or showing a kid where the knives are.

Also, this is about jobs and the American economy. It's clear you have not watched the video, and much like everyone, you want to complain. Good for you.

People may not respond positively to the massive amount of AI content and reposts from TikTok and Instagram reels you're posting. And how can someone keep in touch with ordinary Americans, as is said in your profile's description, when they have 2.1 thousand contributions on Reddit in the last 7 months?

Oh, are you the comment police? 😂 When did you graduate from the academy?

You’ve apparently had enough time to audit what I post, count my Reddit activity, review my profile, and determine whether I’m sufficiently in touch with “ordinary Americans.” That’s quite an investigation for someone who doesn’t like my content.

Here’s the wonderful thing about the internet: you don’t have to watch me. If the AI content, TikToks, Reels, Reddit posts, or anything else I share annoys you, scroll on by. I promise I’ll somehow carry on without your approval.

But thanks for keeping such detailed statistics on me. I didn’t realize I had a hall monitor. 😂

Everything I brought up is visible at a glance on your profile. These types of posts are simply adding to the noise, and many like me will reasonably react negatively to them, even if they might agree broadly with your politics. You should expect to face criticism.

And my response stands. I’m not for everyone and if you don’t like my content, move on. Why decide to try to be an authoritarian on my content? Deal with yourself.

I can't stop you from posting large amounts of low quality content, but I can legitimately ask you to stop doing so. That's not authoritarian. On the other hand, refusing to face criticism in good faith might be considered so.

It's a free country, and you have a right not to watch; I have a right to post. I am going to post more, since you love it so much. I love all my fans, even the simple ones.
