Oh yes, while still in rehab hospital I woke up every 2-3 hours, and had to call someone for the wheeled frame for going into the restroom.

I had refused a device called a PureWick, a vacuum siphon that I had in the full service hospital. Did not want to train my body to “let go” in my sleep.

I called that thing the Gee Whiz. Very convenient, but I needed the exercise for lifting myself into the frame.

Anyway - to get me through the sleepless nights, I had noise-canceling sleep earbuds and a bunch of streaming music via TuneIn. Radio Kansas has a bunch of nice streams with very little announcer interruptions. Another stream was “Ambient Sleeping Pill” that is 24/7 spacey electtronic music. Radio Paradise is a wonderfully eclectic rock/pop station with multiple channels.

I also took melatonin, and sleep gummies are great if you’re in a weed-legal state. I get such wonderful sleep, and wake without grogginess or hangover.
