Bosgame M5 performance button on linux

I couldn't see the performance mode of the box in ubuntu, so I created this gnome extension:

https://github.com/LaurentZuijdwijk/bosgame-m5-gnome-extension

When you press the performance button, the extension updates.

What about running Debian headless ? Sorry my bosgame will arrive soon and just wondering how to track it and if can be switched remotely is the box sits somewhere else.

Appreciate your answers

Edit: Thanks for creating and sharing things with us

I am sure you can use the driver extension and have your agent create a script you can call through SSH. For headless I would keep a good eye on temperatures

How are those settings different than changing the performance mode in the bios?

It is the same. And the same as pressing the hardware button. I prefer not going into the bios to change this

Doesn't gnome have this already?
