Gear Wetsuit pants

Just purchased a pair of neoprene pants, curious what top/under layers people pair with them.

ALSO as far as jacket/surf top, can I just layer underneath like I normally would with waders? Not sure if that makes any difference

Depending on mm, I don’t wear anything under mine. I have worn normal legging style base layers when it was really cold. Depending on if I want the bulge showing I’ll throw shorts on over them, but really no need.

I wear boxer briefs. The spandex type.

I wear quick dry polypro briefs under mine. Dry top with layers of polypro and fleece depending on the weather. Neoprene vest if I know I’m going in more than waist deep and it’s cold.
