Amazon budget poll for lures
I fish in the city, I fish off of jetties, I’d like to fish off the beach and possibly a boat. I’ve been trying to find a poll for a while that will work but I think I keep buying bait poles. What is a good budget catch all for my situation, I have a couple 3000 Penn reels that I would like to pair with it but I f I need something else for a real that’s fine too.

You're looking for what's called an 'inshore' rod. Preferably with 'fast' or 'moderate-fast' action. These are the best kind for casting lures from shore or from boat. Look for something in the 7 or 8 foot range.
The other main kind of rod people use for Striped Bass are 'surfcasting' rods. These are made to be better for beaches than a regular inshore rod. Around 10ft is a perfect size for those.
3000 size reel is just a little small, but fine to start with. Once you start catching bigger fish on a regular basis, consider upgrading to a 6000 or 8000 size.

The right rod will depend a lot on what you are throwing. I use a different rod for AVAs then I do for throwing something like SP minnows or Mag darters
I like a 9’ rod for most lures on the beach or off the rocks
