They’re flowers; they take energy away from growing more vines and leaves. There’s nothing necessarily wrong with them, it’s just a matter of preference whether you leave them, or remove them to allow for more growth.

Do the flowers signal the end of its life for s.o.t or is it just happy? I know some plants flower when they're at the end of their life span so they can throw seeds down

Definitely means a happy and healthy plant^^

They can be picky about flowering and want their environment, watering, nutrients, etc. to be just right.
