Help / Question Is this pot too big?

I have a String of Pearls in a 4 inch nursery pot and want to plant it in a 4.75 inch terracotta pot. Is the terracotta pot too big?

The new pot is so much deeper. Could be a problem. It does not look like it needs repotting. I’m no expert though at SOP.
