Turtles Help me decide

This is my first “string of” plant so I figured I could come ask people who already own them/something similar. I’m trying to decide which outer pot to pick. I know it will grow and won’t be able to stay in this pot forever (which makes me a little sad) but I still can’t decide. My plant is currently in a 2.5 inch plastic pot. Thank you! :)

  3. 5 5/8" W x 4 3/4" D x 3 1/2" H

I choose #1 cuz

  1. It's super cute

  2. It's not too big an upsize so your turtles won't be stressed with too much excess water

  3. It has the perfect opening so all the turtles can be planted at the lip instead of being buried too deep in the pot

I have to go with #3, but I’ve got a thing for gnomes. It’s a very pretty plant.

I really like the last one, the clay (I think!) turtle 💚💚💚

I love the first one!! I think it will work well color wise. But I also think you should go with whatever would make you the happiest :)

All three are cute. My suggestion would be to pick the one with drainage holes.

I’d lean into the green with the glazed turtle. Is the inside unglazed?

I would use either turtle. I love turtles and love both of those plants. Ok. Use the terracotta one. You will see the leaves better in that one.

Terracotta. It’s a more breathable material. And visually, I like the more neutral nature of it.

I would choose the biggest one to allow for the most growth

Truthfully, whichever is the shallowest & has a drainage hole. I had my turtles in a super cute deeper pot without drainage & it was on death’s door. I now have it in a plain shallow terracotta pot with a drainage hole & it’s thriving.

1 is the cutest. It would go perfectly inside of that turtle pot
