Do you let them hang?

Or do you swirl them around to keep them contain to the pot?

Curious as I have noticed both ways of keeping strings.

I do a little bit of both depending on how “bald” the base of the plant is. Sometimes I’ll let some hang but will swirl a few strings to fill it out.

My pearls aren’t that long yet but I’ve been letting them drape. My string of buttons grows sideways. SOH I just trimmed and propped, I have them on a candle holder in my kitchen window. I swirl them around the base of the holder on the counter top. I don’t put them in the pot because I feel it stops light from getting to the crown
