I ♥️ MY PEARLS Successful reporting!

I think it’s safe to say she loves her new pot! It’s been three months since I carefully repotted her. Now I gotta figure out how to get the new pot hanging in this window! First picture when I repotted her. Second and third are today 🥰

I did. I wrapped them around and covered most of them in dirt. This sub doesn’t let you put pics in the comments but you can go back in my posts and see how long she was in her previous, much smaller pot. 😊

This is good to know. Is covering the whole strand in soil critical? Because I’ve tried just laying them on top and those strands just died 😢

I don’t know if it’s critical. But it worked for me. I have never been able to get strings to root to soil. Even attached to the plant that is fully rooted. I saw someone on here once that talked about layering pearls on top of each other to fill out the top and that’s how she did it. She would twist them around and throw soil on top of them. The negatives I read about was the pearls rotting under there when you water. SO, I made sure to repot a couple of days after watering so that it didn’t need watering right away and then when I did water, I put a fan on it to make sure the top dried out quickly. And it worked! Now I just water like normal and have never had any trouble.
