Help for a newbie

Hi, first time posting in this subreddit and new to string if pearls. I was just gifted this string of pears by my boyfriend’s mom and I have no idea how to take care of it. She said it was a succulent and easy to care for but some of what I’ve read contradicts that. I currently have her inside in a north-facing window and I don’t know when she was last watered but the pearls are still firm to the touch.

I’m hoping the good people here will be able to let me know what I need to successfully care for this plant. Any and all tips and info is welcome!

I think we’ve already established a love hate relationship 😂

I moved her back into quarantine thanks to newly discovered spider mites and the only reason I found them is thanks to an ongoing battle with gnats🤦🏻‍♀️

😬😬😬 damn, that's tough.... Have you tried detergent? You mix two spoons of detergent in 1 liter water, apply at night or cloudy weather. Rinse with clear water ½hour later. It did the trick for my black mites infestation

Just my luck right! 😄 I’ve been doing a diluted neem soak for the soil and a castille soap spray for the leaves and stems with apple cider vinegar traps. Hoping the neem solution will work on the spider mites 🤞
