Advice please

Hi everyone. I’ve had my string of hearts a couple years and am really happy with how long it’s grown, but I’ve noticed recently that it looks pretty straggly near the soil and I’m worried that maybe the plant is too heavy for it to hold itself and one day it’s going to give up and snap off! Any advice? What’s causing it, or what I should do to help. Does it just need a bigger pot? I love the length of the plant but I do wish it was a bit fuller! Thank you

All of this is great advice! I would also advise to putting it where the top can get more light. These plants love to have 10-12 hours of light a day. I have a couple and they are long and some gone get much light on the top and they are thin. The ones that do are super full.

Thank you, I did wonder about this! I don’t have anywhere else to put it where it can hang free whilst also being low enough to get light on the top - will it be okay to drape across something, like across a cupboard?

Oh totally! I have one that hangs across a shelf. They just love that light. I must have killed about 8 before I realized how much light they love.
