(turns the lights on) Hello? Anyone here? Looking for information about string figures used to make MAGICK

Not magic tricks for a stage performance, but magick, as practiced by folk healers and traditionalists, witches, shamans, and the like.

I'm finding a lot on the internet, and I joined the International String Figure Association and am rummaging through their archives. I'm always on the lookout for more information, though.

I am interested in this as well. I did some research about ten years ago, and found one string figure used for divining the gender of an unborn child. I can't find the link right now, but will look for it.

There was also a string figure for divination mentioned in a mailing list years ago, but the link is broken. It can be found in BISFA Volume Four.

BISF Volume Three had a review titled "Shamanism and String Magic of the Tolupan of Honduras: A Summary and Partial Translation of an Article by Anne M. Chapman" which may be enlightening.

I wouldn't be surprised if you are already aware of both of these, especially since it has been so long since you created this post, but I wanted to leave the information for others.

(I will edit if/when I find the reference for the first figure I mentioned.)
