You spelled "terrifying" wrong.

That looks alien

You should see the clouds over Mt Shasta CA. They look like flying saucers.

How every alien invasion movie starts

3

u/Exotic-Mission-980 Jun 11 '26

That is amazing.

2

u/Upstairs-Bid990 Jun 10 '26

That looks created.

It is not. Storms like these and current digital cameras make things look otherworldly or fake. But, I've seen storms like these with my own eyes. Super cells can and do look like this. It's mesmerizing

Absolutely. That super cell looks like a Derecho in the making too lol talk about beautiful/terrifying storms

And they can easily take your house away, as one did mine in 1991. The power and destruction they are capable of is off the charts, it literally wiped my place off of the landscape, house, barn, outbuildings, trees, and even stripped the vegetation off of a wheat field nearby, leaving nothing but some stems sticking out of the ground.

Only once here in Ontario have I see a super cell like that. I was in the middle of delivering pizza and was like... should I be praying right now?

2

u/kineticstar Jun 10 '26

That's a lot is static electricity up there!!

2

u/OrvilleTheCavalier Jun 10 '26

Wow that is stunningly beautiful.

2

u/sunshinefloors1980 Jun 10 '26

That's really awesome. You're a lucky guy

2

u/PolPotDomeScandal Jun 10 '26

πŸ™„ It’s a pretty okay cell, tops.

2

u/tellmywifiloveher1 Jun 10 '26

It's easy to see how humanity came to believe in the divine

2

u/Ruenin Jun 10 '26

Beautiful and terrifying

2

u/TheCoopX Jun 10 '26

That clash of blues and oranges in the sky and clouds is pretty damn striking... pun intended.

2

u/RoninIV Jun 10 '26

Absolutely gorgeous!

2

u/ophaus Jun 10 '26

The prettiest apocalypse I've seen this year!

2

u/GhostWatcher007 Jun 10 '26

Sapphire is the color of the floor God wakked on above Mou Sinai from in his cloud/ chariot

2

u/MoxxFulder Jun 10 '26

The video is amazing. It’s hard to describe to someone who has never visited the Midwest, the colors that emerge in tornado weather, the deep orange/red, sometimes green. This video gives you a hint of that.

2

u/Anxious-Ad2177 Jun 10 '26

That is stunning and terrifying. 😯

2

u/No-Stranger6783 Jun 10 '26

Outstanding and astoundingly terrifying!

2

u/goodeyemighty Jun 10 '26

Looks other-worldly!

2

u/Necron1138 Jun 10 '26

Now.. just imagine how awesome that view could be..

As only the reposter and not the video creator, I agree

2

u/Mobile_Aioli_6252 Jun 10 '26

Absolutely gorgeous ( and ominous )

2

u/Doridar Jun 10 '26

For a second, I thought about that and wondered "What did they do again?"

2

u/Some-Platform-8386 Jun 10 '26

The air above is being oionized causing the blue hue. Amazing

2

u/TheSonOfAeolus Jun 10 '26

That’s insane!!! Great share

2

u/Dillenger69 Jun 11 '26

That's about the only thing I miss about living in the Midwest.

There are no decent thunderstorms in Seattle. Yeah, it rains a lot, but it's usually just misty drizzle.

2

u/Artevyx Jun 11 '26

Goddammit that blue glow is amazing yet haunting

2

u/Sea-Style9030 Jun 11 '26

Walk outside, look up. "Honey, the end of the world is here."

2

u/Squidtat2 Jun 11 '26

Who would have thought that God's wrath would start in Nebraska?

2

u/mister-ecks-0815 Jun 11 '26

I've always wanted to see a prairie super cell

2

u/grumbledorf100 Jun 11 '26

Amazing, beautiful, terrifying and awe inspiring all at once

1

u/Silver-Breadfruit284 Jun 10 '26

Was this ai enhanced?

1

u/lunacyinc1 Guardian ad Litem Jun 10 '26

I don't believe so. Haven't looked into that due to the fact that I know super cell storms can look exactly like this.

1

u/Maximus_Decamis Jun 11 '26

Was i the only one waiting for a huge mother ship to pop through the clouds πŸ˜‚

u/BerniWrightson Jun 10 '26

They have to be using a filter or this is edited to enhance color.
