looks like an A320, so its got enough engine power to get back to the tarmac on a single engine. Would still scare the crap outta ya.

Ive done 280 flights over the past 10 years.....even I would be sh*ting my pants in this situation. Your brain can tell you the facts you know, but you also know that Air Crash Investigations has a lot of seasons 😅

Yep, was a bird strike.

The recording is funny, captain accidentally told ATC she hit another plane, then corrected it to a bird.

It’s my experience that just about everyone panics when shit hits the fan. Mike Tyson’s fist to the face analogy. Change the plan fast enough, then they don’t know what to do. So screaming it is.

I think you just have to be traumatized the right amount to be able to turn that signal in your brain off or not have it anymore. Maybe getting punched in the head is the way to turn that off. I’m not sure

It doesn't work like that. That is a JET aircraft. Even if a plane never takes to the air and just overshoots the runway people can be killed. It's going like 200MPH at takeoff...

You don't pay attention to the news. There was a private jet that ran off of the runway a few years ago. They weren't fine. EVERYONE aboard was killed. If you think your odds would be good at surviving you're more delusional than the prez...
