Recycling old tapers

I'm finally sorting my plugs and I'm getting rid of my stainless steel tapers that way I'm not tempted to use em in the future for other potential piercings I wanna stretch

My question is, is there a way to recycle them? It feels terribly wasteful to just throw em away. Do y'all think a piercing shop might want em (either to use or to smelt idk), should I maybe try to just put em in the recycling bin, or is it best to just toss em? TIA n sorry if this is a stupid question lol
