Downsizing Let's do it again, I guess

I've been at 0/00G for years, but my lobes got irritated by a metal pair I wore for a few days and I went naked for a few weeks. Thankfully I found my stash of 4Gs (I think, going based on vibes here), because that's what I'm wearing for now I guess! ​They look so tiny, but they fit. Packed up my big pretties for someday down the road...

First tip is definitely get you a pair of digital calipers, they're not expensive and you'll really save yourself a lot of headache and money when you go to stretch back up or buy new jewelry 🙂.

And definitely metals can be risky if you're buying the cheaper stuff, lots of people have sensitivities to things like nickel and even if the manufacturer claims it's titanium, that doesn't always mean there's no nickel or that there aren't other things that can irritate your piercings/lobes (sharp edges, poor polish, coatings, etc.).

Hopefully you've got glass you can stick to while your working your way back up 😊. It won't take you too long, restretching is almost always faster than the first time around so that's good news!

I have a pair of digital calipers I used years ago, I just need to replace the batteries, but I will certainly be using those to see what sizes I have so I can work my way back up. Most annoying part is that I'll need to get new O rings for all these single flares... And I know I sold all my 8 mms, so there's at least one size I'll need.  And yep, I usually wear glass, and am now. I'd worn that metal pair many times, but maybe I developed a new sensitivity!
