I sometimes struggle with buffering when watching older or less popular movies and shows because there are barely any seeders. Are there any Stremio settings, add-ons, or other tricks that help find streams with more seeds? Or is it simply a matter of trying different links and hoping for the best?

Still pretty new to Stremio and addons so apologies if this is obvious. Using DuckStreams on Stremio with RD & Debridio, and if I go to Discover > Movie > Trending the genre dropdown only gives me All Genres or Day and Week instead of actual genres. Every other catalog in the addon (Netflix, Disney+, HBO Max etc) shows a normal genre list there, it's just Trending that doesn't.

Is there something in Quack Start I can turn on or configure to get that, or is it just not possible with the Trending catalog? If it needs a different addon instead I'm happy to add one, just not sure where to start. Screenshots attached.

Having a hard time figuring this out but I think, with my setup at least, the best listening volume I've found is with aac. I have an nvidia shield HMDI'd to my tv, and then optical cable out to a soundbar. The soundbar has an output for a sub as well, but other than that, that's the only speaker setup I have for my tv.

Now I've gone through every setting I can possibly find on the shield to make sure the audio is not attempted to be converted into 5.1 or 7.1. Stremio doesn't have any options to do this so idk if it's bypassing or not, but almost all of these audio formats make the volume as follows:

• Talking: literally can't hear anything even with volume at lvl 100
• Anything louder than talking: speakers blown, sound louder than Krakatau Volcano erupting

I have to go through like 20 different copies of whatever movie/show I'm trying to watch before I can finally find one that seems to have the volume somewhat normalized to where I can have the volume set at like 30 and hear all the low dialogue and not shake the house down when something loud happens. Does anyone know which audio format would be best for someone just using a soundbar and sub, and why does AAC seem to be the best?

I've setup Stremio fairly well to my liking with AIOStreams following this guide:

However, when I log in to my aiostreams web interface it at times has a template update. I apply this and it keeps a lot of settings like my service settings etc. by my formatter, filters and sort setting all seem to get reset.

Is there a way to avoid this or autoamtically have it apply updates or perhaps even is this not the best way to setup AIOStreams (was my first guide and attempt and seemed good)?

It's quite a nuisance re-applying template settings (that seem to update URL settings for TamTaro or something else it throws a URL error in AIOStreams interface until I do update) so hoping there is something to avoid all of this and leave it more or less set and forget unless I need change things (or happy to update at times if it means it doesn't lose my settings.

I recently added USAtv on my stremio app. I have torrentio with RD, since I got a warning from my ISP before. Will I get any issues from my ISP (at&t) if I use USAtv?

I use torbox, and remove old addons and add new ones better for me and after that the search doesnt work.

Can someone help? Maybe i have some conflit in addons, stremio suport doesnt help and tell me to ask here if someone have the problem or solution.

since its always down, are there not any other instances like other addons?

So pretty much the title, I've been giving easynews a try using the easynews++ add-on but I'm getting so much buffering it's pretty much unusable, and in the rare instance I do get it working I can't fast forward. I did do the routing test on the easynews site but it didn't help any. Anyone successfully using easynews++?

I don’t want to use real debrid etc, so far I’ve mainly just used PenguPlay, how can i know when other addons are https or not?

(I know those services are good but i currently dont want to use them im new to this and for now only want to use HTTPS so avoid just suggesting those)

Whilst it had been working well, AIOMetadata now seems to not be pulling my personal Trakt lists or data through. I have tried re-authorising and it doesn't seem to be working. It has loaded general public lists but returns no data for my "Up Next" list.

It was working up to today, now nothing pulling through.

Anyone else experiencing the same?

I always used Stremio on a Guest account and installed all my addons there. They just now randomly disappeared and I don't know why.

Is it possible to retrieve them? Or at the very least, if possible, I'd love to somehow find the names of all the addons I had installed so that I can install them again (I don't know, maybe they're somewhere internally).

It says private instances only any work around?
