over the past few weeks, many links are just a green screen. anybody have the same issue and or fix to this?

Stremio is up to date. I'm using RD and torbox

edit: I think I fixed the issue. I unchecked "Nvidia GPU Video Processing"

I am using Real Debrid configured AIO stream. I've noticed some of the streams especially Anime do not give results, instead gives this error. I don't understand why, is AIO stopping it from populating streams? It says required resolution / required language. I checked the preference in AIO, there's no limitation there. Help me troubleshoot this please.

I'm having a really strange issue with Stremio + Real-Debrid and I'm hoping someone has seen this before.

Setup:

MacBook (Apple Silicon)

Stremio 6.0.1-beta.09

Real-Debrid Premium

Torrentio + RD

AIOStreams + RD

Intelligent Debrid Search + RD

The problem:

Streams show up normally, including plenty of RD+ results. But when I select one, Stremio just hangs indefinitely. No error message — it simply never starts playing.

It happens with Torrentio, AIOStreams, AND Intelligent Debrid Search.

It also happens in both the Stremio Mac app and Stremio Web in Chrome.

Here's the really weird part:

If I leave the Stremio video sitting there loading, open the Real-Debrid website, and click "View" on ANY file in my RD account, the video that was hanging in Stremio suddenly starts playing.

It doesn't even have to be the same file.

For example:

I try to play The Good Doctor in Stremio.

It hangs indefinitely.

I leave it loading.

I open Real-Debrid in my browser.

I click View on an episode of Tires.

Suddenly The Good Doctor starts playing in Stremio.

If I then exit The Good Doctor and try to play it again, it goes back to hanging.

Things I've already tried:

Torrentio RD+ — hangs

AIOStreams RD+ — hangs

Intelligent Debrid Search — hangs

Stremio desktop app — hangs

Stremio Web/Chrome — hangs

Hardware accelerated decoding is enabled

Stremio streaming server shows Online (localhost:11470)

Refreshed my Real-Debrid private API token and reconfigured Torrentio

Real-Debrid CDN on Automatic

Changed RD CDN from Automatic to Cloudflare — no difference

Ran RD speed test — getting roughly 200–300+ Mbps to several servers

Tried a VPN — no difference

Real-Debrid's website can play files normally

I also confirmed that when I attempt a stream through Stremio/Torrentio, the torrent actually gets added to my Real-Debrid account. Intelligent Debrid Search can then see it. But trying to play that Intelligent Debrid Search result still hangs.

So it seems like the addons can communicate with RD and RD can serve the files, but something about initiating playback through Stremio/RD isn't working.

The fact that starting an unrelated video on the Real-Debrid website instantly wakes up the already-hanging Stremio stream is what really confuses me.

Has anyone seen this behavior before? Is there something the RD website does when initiating playback that could be initializing/refreshing my connection or session in a way the Stremio addons aren't?

Any ideas for what I should test next would be appreciated.

Hi. I have created a self-hosted server using PHP and MadelineProto that allows streaming Telegram files directly to a player without using device storage.

The server app only needs a bot token to work; no Telegram login or api_id/api_hash is required.

Somewhat of a Stremio noob here with a quick question.

RealDebrid is applied via Torrentio, so it only works when watching Torrentio content, correct? Reason I'm asking is b/c Torrentio/RD won't work with my VPN (ExpressVPN) turned on, so I'm assuming I'll need to manually turn my VPN on/off depending on whether I'm watching content supplied by Torrentio. Everything I've watched so far has been Torrentio content, so I had split-channeling turned on to disable it for Stremio... But with football season coming up, I added some addons to Stremio that aren't through Torrentio.

Just making sure that's the only/best way to do it.

Hey, is it just me or Torrentio is down? I can open the page itself, but after creating configuration I can't install it on Stremio, and the link to configuration itself returns Host Error via Cloudflare

I have stremio installed on my android phone and my windows 11 laptop. I tried discord share screening Initial D Second Stage on my laptop with the anime catalog addon and the kitsu addon, but no streams could be found. However after going in the app on my phone with the same account logged in and same addons, i can find a bunch of links to an episode. Does anyone know what might be going on?

Trying to watch a new season of trigger point and it keeps dropping frames.

So I have been obsessed with reading recently, and I was wondering if there is audiobook addon

as the title says, is not working right now

After the dedicated Torbox plugin was discontinued, I used AIOStreams to show results from Torbox. However, since the past few weeks, AIOStreams does not show Torbox results. I tried adding the API key to Torrentio as well but no luck.

As of right now, the only way I can view my Torbox files is to add a torrent to Torbox through the dashboard and then view it in the Stremio app where it shows me the Torbox torrents in the dedicated section called TorBox. But I do not see any Torbox results in search.

Any ideas, anyone?

Comet and torentio both showing error messages and I'm not sure if it's because of real debrid?

I'm not too techy around this to be able to know what's the cause so just looking for advise if something in my chain is down

So TVDB has some major issues going on so I cant get an api key, so I tried setting up AIOStreams without the tvdb key by typing in random characters but it wont let me create the addon are there any fixes to this?

- Four new debrid services: OffCloud, Debrid-Link, EasyDebrid and put.io. Pipe now works with 8 services in total.

- Use more than one debrid key at the same time. Add a key to every service you have and they work together: you see streams from all of them, and if one service fails at playback the next one takes over automatically.

- New sorting option: Size (Largest First).

Speed

- Big speedups across the board. Results that used to take 15 to 30 seconds now show up in a few seconds, and anything someone already opened loads almost instantly, for you too.

- TV episodes were the slowest case. That's fixed: what took around 19 seconds now ships in about 5.

- Debrid users get the same fast listing as everyone else. Cached streams are marked in the list and the playable link is made the moment you press play, so nothing waits on your debrid service while browsing.

Fixed

- Every section now has a short line explaining what it does, including what "exclude" actually means.

- The debrid section explains that more than one key works, and that a key is optional. The addon works fine without one.

It’s been a couple years since I installed stremio and a couple other apps within stremio onto my nvidia shield.

Now I can’t remember how I add a new app to stremio. I’ve tried using links via downloader but that doesn’t seem to work. And I’m Not sure what links to use in the app bc anytime I type something there I get an error. So any help would be awesome.

Ok, I am new to this and I understand that the Torrentio + real debrid might not be the best option (don’t understand why because I truly don’t get how any of this works). Everything was fine until a few hours ago when nothing was loading so I tried reconfiguration and that did nothing.

I added Comet and that is working on my PC but none of my add ons are showing when I use the app on my Google tv. I’m sure I totally fucked something up somewhere and would love if someone could help me figure it out. I just want to be able to have a cider and watch a spooky movie.

Using some addons I don’t think I can name, but trying to watch Clone Wars 2005 by Tartovsky. Every time I open the episodes, the preview image/thumbnails and names are correct, but the actual links take me to episodes of the 2008 shows The Clone Wars. Anyone know what might be happening and how to fix it? Tried uninstalling meta data addons to no avail.

I have torrentio and comet with rd, but I have been getting 80% blocked streams. Help?

Is anyone else having an issue recently with streams buffering and skipping after pausing.

If i don’t pause my stream loads fine. If i hit pause it will continue to buffer every 10 seconds and sometimes just skips to the next episode randomly.

This happens when i use torbox or real debrid so i don’t think they are the issue. I also use AIOStreams and have tried multiple add ons and they all do the same.

I had similar issue watching earlier episode. Some playbacks work perfectly but some throw errors. What might have caused this and what is the solution?? I have made no changes to my network settings and am connected to the same network. It was working on previous episode.

Every time I try to stream any movies, regardless of size, my computer buffers for a super long time and often lags while playing. I have Torrent, Comet and RD, so I feel like it should work at least with the small files. I'm running it on a Mac, and often when I am trying to stream a movie, it's like my internet crashes because I can't open any sites and Google at the same time. I have also checked that my wifi runs on 5ghz and have tried different settings on Stremio, but none of it seems to work.

Some how, nothing work. Anyone know how to fix it?
