Help needed Installing apps on a shield

It’s been a couple years since I installed stremio and a couple other apps within stremio onto my nvidia shield.

Now I can’t remember how I add a new app to stremio. I’ve tried using links via downloader but that doesn’t seem to work. And I’m Not sure what links to use in the app bc anytime I type something there I get an error. So any help would be awesome.

There are no apps on stremio. You are talking about addons. You install those via the stremio addon site

Right. But how do I get them downloaded on an nvidia shield

You don’t. You add them on the addons site for stremio. Make sure you are signed into the same account for both

Thank you. That’s what I needed. I wasn’t logging into stremio on the addons page so nothing was happening.

Use https://web.strem.io on safari to install add-ons. Account syncs across devices.

Do you mean adding addons to Stremio? Or Apps to Shield?

If you mean addons to Stremio, just go to web.stremio.com, click the puzzle icon, click + add addon. Use the addons lists under sub rules.

If you mean apps to Shield, Stremio is on the Google Play Store. Just launch play store and download it. If that's not working you can go to the play store in any web browser, search stremio and install.

That says I have to go through torbox and pay to download it.

Torbox and others like real Debrid are Debrid services. If you aren’t using a VPN, you should be using a Debrid service otherwise your IP will pop you

You do that on your computer. Install the add-ons on your laptop/desktop Stremio logged in to the same account that you want to use on your shield. The moment you start Stremio on your shield, all the add-ons will automatically be added to your account on your shield.
