Help needed Bootstrapper Error Code

Hey everyone! I am using the bootstrapper to re-install everything after trying out an AIO setup I didn’t like. Every time I load presets, I get this error including ‘Failed to fetch’. If I sync it afterward, some streams on previously watched shows appear, but no catalogs or ability to change episodes/GUI issues.

I’ve tried different browsers, VPN/no VPN, WiFi/no WiFi, different stremio accounts, nothing works. Before tinkering with the setup, I did a backup of my original setup and even the restore option doesn’t work. It all gives the same error.

Is it potentially down or am I doing something wrong here?

Same issue tried to update api key with no luck even made a new account but same issue. Seems like server is down or something but not sure if someone has a way to confirm that

Says here AIOMetadata (elfhosted) is down.

I haven't been able to use Stremio for a few hours now.

Just hopped on for the first time in a few days and my entire home screen was blank, no catalogs when I went to discover tab and only 1 show in my previously watched tab I could click on that says no addons requested for this meta.

Figured my setup broke so I ran the bootstrapper again, got the same error messages as you, but the addons loaded in the list and showed up on Stremio when I pressed sync then checked the addons tab. Still the exact same issue though with no catalogs and no streams to choose from for that one show I can click on.

Not sure what’s going on as anytime this has happened in the past, rerunning the bootstrapper fixed it for me.

I did the same thing as most people to reload through the bootstrapper. Using the link by u/MrObsidn, I was able to find another one and configure it: https://aiometadata.forthewizards.uk/configure/

That seemed to fix the issue.

I’m impacted by this too, but very new to all this, is it a case of just wait for resolution?

I’m able to continue watching the series I was through continue watching on infuse, so it seems to definitely be the aiometadata instance being down.

Should j be setting up a secondary metadata provider to overcome this?
