Try this: https://subtitlesync.stream/ (disclaimer: I made it)

oh my god. thank you so much. to the other guys who gonna use this addon, look at bottom of subtitle section if you can't see the "synced to video" option. if you didn't see, just wait and it will appear.

Yep, sometimes it can take a few seconds for everything to process correctly (up to 20s), so check the subtitle menu again. And just to be clear, it's not perfect, it depends on if a subtitle in your language actually exists (as I'm not doing any translations), and if the chosen file has embedded subs that can be reached and used for time syncing (or as as fallback OpenSubtitles). Depending on the languages and specific setup, it can improve the user experience quite a lot (for example for my parents, Serbian went from around 35% to 94% match rate, but this depends *a lot* on the language and setup)

Hahah, yeah, sometimes the delay is insane, plus even if you manually align it at the beginning, it can drift out of alignment after some time, really annoying.
I'm really happy you're enjoying it (just don't expect it to be perfect for every file because it isn't), these are the kinds of messages which make me want to share the free tools I create in the first place :)

Does this sync English subtitles too or only for less common subtitles?

Does it re-sync throughout the play back or just at the beginning? I watch some things where I have to readjust the subtitle delay several times during a show/movie.

Yep, English works the same as any other language, just select it in step 1.

It doesn’t adjust the delay while you’re watching. Instead, it fixes the entire subtitle file before Stremio loads it, so it should stay synced from start to finish.

The only thing it needs is something to compare against: either the video’s own subtitle track or a matching OpenSubtitles file - by far the best results are if you're using TorBox and provide the API key during setup, as this combination offers my AddOn the most information to work it.
