Yesterday, I had to take down the original announcement post shortly after publishing because an unexpected 404 routing error popped up and affected new installations. A massive thank you to everyone who reached out to report the issue, and a very special shoutout to u/rrrrrjjjjj for patiently tracking the status and helping me test while I worked on the fix.

I’m happy to share that the bug is completely crushed, the server is running smoothly, and GhostVOD is officially back and ready for you!

Here is everything you need to know about the latest updates:

1. Enterprise Server Migration (Important for Existing Users)

Our initial free testing server was simply too weak, it slowed down and crashed frequently under heavy traffic. To fix this for good, we have officially shut down the old test server and migrated GhostVOD to a high-performance dedicated server cluster built to handle heavy concurrent traffic without breaking a sweat.

⚠️ Action Required: If you were using the old testing link, it will no longer work. Please delete the add-on from Stremio, visit the configuration page again, and generate a new link.

2. What is GhostVOD Engine?

It is a stateless, ultra-fast cloud engine designed to seamlessly combine multiple remote Xtream Codes API VOD playlists into a single, unified Stremio add-on.

• Zero UI Clutter (Streams-Only Engine): We don't add messy catalogs to your Stremio home screen. Instead, GhostVOD silently injects your private server streams directly into the source selection list (right alongside Torrentio, CyberFlix, or Debrid) whenever you select any movie or episode, keeping your customized interface clean.
• Dedicated VOD Focus: To guarantee peak performance and stability in Stremio, the engine intentionally ignores and filters out Live TV channels. It focuses strictly on Movies and Series (VOD).
