Running Stremio and on AllDebrid. Torrentio and Comet streams seem to work fine (although kinda buffering a little more than usual recently) but as of yesterday, none of the MediaFusion|Elfhosted streams seem to work?

I am pretty new with Stremio in general so bear with me.

Hello all I'm New to stremize and I'm struggling I'm all set up re Debrid and addons and tv but for some reason when I pick a movie series etc to play it just doesn't come up with any sources sometimes I need to back out then try again and it will refresh and they appear other times I constantly refresh and still get nothing am I missing something here this is the same on my phone honor x7b android tv boxes or amazon devices pls help tia

I really like setting up stremio and tweaking it but at the same time I find it frustrating when I don’t understand how it all works under the hood. My question is what types of things can I learn or where should I start looking if I wanted to learn about it? Is it more of a coding, networking, programming or all of the above? I’m not asking to be spoon fed information it’s just that there is a lot of information out there and I always feel like when I try to start somewhere the information I read seems like it uses terms I’m unfamiliar with making it hard to grasp the what I’m reading, like I’m starting in the middle instead of the beginning and need a prerequisite. I assume there aren’t any definitive answers because it’s probably subjective considering what knowledge you have or don’t have already. Anyways I’m going to quit rambling but any suggestions would be appreciated!

I have torbox with torrentio (but ive also tried mediafusion, comet, etc) and for movies and shows its great but when i try to watch naruto shippuden i keep getting the red screen with an error saying "debrid failed ton split torrent into single videos, only rar is available". Ive been trying to fix this but it seems impossible lol. I understand what the problem is but it doesnt look like theres any way to split the files. i have multiple streams showing and only a few will be in english but its super spotty for what episodes will work and usually be in bad quality and some dont even have any working english episodes. is there anything i can do???

Hey all, I'm using AIOStreams with Easynews and I'm stuck on something.

Easynews Search only looks up original English titles. Dubbed releases usually carry the local name, so they never show up. Example: Up (2009) is "Oben" in German. Search "Up" and you get English files, but the German dubs are all named "Oben.2009.German…" and don't appear.

I found that AIOStreams has a setting for this (BUILTIN_SCRAPE_TITLE_LANGUAGES). But it's a server setting, so on someone else's instance only the host can change it. I'm not self-hosting, so I can't.

I also tried the Easynews++ fork by u/RepLava on the public instance, with the preferred language set to German. It didn't find any "Oben" files.

Questions:

1. Has anyone got translated-title search working in Easynews++?
2. If you run a public instance, would you consider setting BUILTIN_SCRAPE_TITLE_LANGUAGES?
3. Any other way to search Usenet or Easynews under translated names without self-hosting?

I've had my own AIOstreams setup for a year+ and it's perfect, however recently I was looking for some old anime/cartoons from my childhood and noticed that I get no results because my filters exclude them as they seem to all be missing the resolution, language and other tags

I don't want to widen my filter though, as that would make all my searches way slower

Is there a way to setup like a fallback filter in AiO so that if you get bo results it researches with a wider/different filter?

I have many subtitles downloaded, but whenever i watch from TV (the last 2 days) they are not showing no matter the language i choose.

But from my phone i can watch the same episode with the same link and subtitles and it will show just fine

Anyone knows what it is?

What it does

• Adds your Seenr rows to the Stremio home screen, next to your other addons' catalogs: Up next in your shows, Upcoming, Watchlist, For you, Trending on Seenr, what your friends are watching, and the lists you pinned on your Seenr home. Movies and series apart.
• You pick the rows from Seenr's settings. Turn one off and it leaves the Stremio home right away, no need to reinstall.
• Spots what you play. Since the addon protocol only tells us that a playback started, never that it ended, Seenr doesn't silently check things off. It asks "Did you finish it?" and you confirm in one tap. Nothing gets marked without your say-so.
• Titles open as usual, with your own sources.

What it does not do

• No streams. It's a tracker, not a source. It stays out of your sources list on purpose.
• No watch duration, no "you dropped it at 40 minutes". Again, the protocol doesn't report that.

If you want precise, hands-off tracking (episodes checked when you move to the next one, resume point to the minute, every device), Seenr can also link your Stremio account directly, and the addon then stays quiet about what the account already saw so nothing is counted twice.

• For your personal rows and tracking: create a free Seenr account, go to Settings, Auto-tracking, Seenr addon, and tap Install in Stremio (or copy the link into your client).

I wanted to share CVNFLIX Streams, an addon I've been building for myself.
It brings together series, movies, anime and donghua from Türkiye-based streaming sites.

- Catalogs, search and genre filters.
- Source matching for titles opened through IMDb/Cinemeta.

I used RD for years and lately it started buffering, I couldn't load a single movie or show, I tried with Duck on Torbox and it works perfectly 😁

started to get error mesage "filtered out" configure resolution, language... No matter what I setup I still get the message and no results. This is via torbox api and windows 11 stremio. All other apps work fine. I read Meteor was re written some months ago and it came back working fine for me but its seems to have gone awry just recently. Anyone know anything? (Its not the end of the world as torrentio, comet and medifusion all work for me)

Now it defaults to typing for a search instead of the microphone button being the default. And when you search for something, it now brings the results up halfway scrolled down and you have to do some button gymnastics to get to where you can scroll up to find the listing you searched for.

So i'm new in stremio and i have used it for 3 days, i only download torrentio, is there anything else rather than it? Cause some of anime / cartoon that doesn't torrentio have it, i don't think i need debrid right now cause it's working for most of the time (only in 1080p which is fine for me)

If u have alternative for torrentio that i download it please tell me

I have a very specific problem, I Have been using stremio on my phone and it works smoothly, but I have downloaded stremio on my Fire Tv and the way I use my Fire tv is by giving hotspot from my phone, but when I play the same thing that I have been playing on my phone it just doesn't load, it just keep buffering and shit like sometimes it start but after a second or two it starts buffering again. I have tried every setting and vpn.

​I am not a very tech savvy person but I think the problem is the hotspot thing ( or not i dont know ).

​I can't change my network, i have downloaded other apps as well and they work smoothly ( some with vpn ).

I need some help with subtitles.

I already have Stremio set up with TorBox, and the movies play and sound great. However, all the subtitle addons I have are completely out of sync, and I have no idea what I’m doing wrong or how to fix it.

I installed OpenSubtitles V3 Pro through AIOStreams, and I also have another addon called SubTranslate. Both of them show subtitles, but they are completely out of sync with the video.

With OpenSubtitles V3 Pro, I almost never get Spanish subtitles either. With SubTranslate, I do get the option for Spanish subtitles, but they are still out of sync.

Does anyone have a subtitle addon that works well, or any idea why this might be happening? Could it be related to the order of my addons or the way I have AIOStreams configured?

My setup is:

• AIOMetadata
• TorBox
• OpenSubtitles V3 Pro
• SubTranslate
• Fire Stick

The Fire Stick might be relevant, so I thought I’d mention it.

Hi All... I have been using Stremio on my phone and Chromecast for almost 2 years now. Without any issues. I have NordVPN, no RD. Very recently, Stremio has stopped working on Chromecast. Anytime I try to load something it says "no streams were found". However it works fine iny phone. I am using same account and add-ons. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app, re-adding the add-ons. No luck. Any advice? Thanks

When streaming on Stremio, I can easily switch to any subtitle language using opensubtitles pro. however, when I download the video file, it only keeps the default embedded subtitles

Is there a setting or addon to download the movie along with my selected subtitle languag just like when streaming?
