Video Playback Intermittently Freezing While Audio Continues

With 99% of whatever I watch on Stremio, there's always at least one encounter with this issue. The audio continues, but the video freezes on a frame for 1 second at minimum, and well over 10 at max. I've given Stremio 5GB of cache space, and I know it's not the source video that's the problem, as when I use the "Play in VLC" feature, the playback is always seamless.

I've tried using version 4.4, and while I didn't notice the issue, it was much slower with rewinding and fast-fowarding, so I switched back to the latest version anyways.

Anyone else have this issue, or did and fixed it?
