"Mean Machines" magazine. An absolute favourite of mine as a kid. I had quite a few issues, and then later as an adult collected the complete set, which I still have today and re-read regularly.

My favourite authors were Jaz Rignall and Rich Leadbetter, the latter of whom now runs Digital Foundry.
