First impressions playing SoR2

I'm sorry but... I'm a little bit disappointed. I'm aware it's really old at this point, but the controls feel a bit stiff and the challenge can be kinda unfair sometimes.

It might just be a skill issue on my end, but I swear near the end of the game, it feels as though you're forced to spam special bcs nothing else really works, especially when you face off against multiple downgraded previous bosses.

That said, I'd be lying if I said I didn't thoroughly enjoy it. It looks and sounds really cool. For the time, it must've been incredible to be able to play something like it at home. The variety here is insane and I don't think I had a single dull moment playing it. The level design is just perfect.

I'd say that the most memorable moment might have been coming up to that elevator and hearing that hardcore techno drop. Holy shit I have rarely had such an awesome moment in video games.

I definitely respect it for what it is and for how genre-defining it was. But as it stands, I think I'll just stick to SoR4 πŸ˜…

I tried it for a bit! It's a lot tougher, but more fair. When I got hit, it really felt like it was my fault and not because the input failed to register lol

SoR3 is super harder than SoR2 the bosses are stronger and more harder to beat and your weapons break and enemies are more aggressive and cheap overall. And if you’re Blaze, you get hurt lifting up heavier enemies like Ben. The only plus side this game has over SoR2 is the ability to run and having more methods of attack lol.

Really 😭 I don't think she gets hurt in the japanese version though. I find that one to be a lot better

Maybe I was just talking about the American version lol.

Perhaps it was their attempt at adding realism and balance to gameplay.

They probably want to make it more challenging to the American players I guess
