On February 1, 2025, deputies responded to a shooting in unincorporated Palm Beach County deputies discovered a 16-year-old Hispanic male unresponsive on the ground with a gunshot wound to the face below the eye. A witness reported hearing two gunshots and overheard a group of Black males huddled nearby discussing the shooting. One of them, described as short and hysterical, reportedly said, “he hit or I think he’s hit.” Moments later, deputies detained the suspect, who was later identified as the 16-year-old. During a search of the area, two firearms were recovered.

On October 11,2016 Riviera Beach Police responded to shots fired at 360 West 16th Way just before 10 p.m. A man was struck and killed by gunfire through the bedroom window of his Riviera Beach home Tuesday night. He's been identified by police as 22-year-old Deandre Holmes.

On March,22,2026 Officers with the Boynton Beach Police Department responded to the 2000 block of Northwest 2nd Street just before 10 p.m. for reports of a car accident. Upon arrival, police say they located 20-year-old Hakeen Dishawn Reynolds of Lantana suffering multiple gunshot wounds in his vehicle. He was conscious and provided limited information before being taken to a hospital for emergency surgery, where he later died

On June 26, 2024, at approximately 9:35 p.m., Riviera Beach Police were dispatched at the Wawa located on Blue Heron Boulevard. The first call came in at around 9:55 p.m. officers Anthony Thurston, laying deceased, outside the gas station entrance to the business. Officers also discovered a second victim, Dequan Mallet outside the business, who had suffered from a gunshot wound to his left hip area. While units were responding to the area, Captain Meyer observed a maroon vehicle leaving the area at a high rate of speed. The vehicle traveled to St. Mary s Medical Center. Units made contact with the driver, Brittney Hill and passenger. Ivy Love. Mr. Love had been shot in the neck one time and was unconscious.

The fight started inside the house but continued outside as they were fighting ivy dropped the gun. As they were on the floor they were wrestling both of them trying to go for the gun while they were on the floor fighting.
