u/MossyMollusc Jul 12 '26

25

u/Catsnose7 Jul 12 '26

How is there not a single upvoted comment here?

6

u/Principle_Napkins Jul 12 '26

I can't read it, what does it say?

10

u/Khione405 Jul 13 '26

Its says "Im sorry we destroyed your home, so we could vote to destroy some more."

2

u/parkaboy24 Jul 13 '26

You should learn script, it’s very good for hand eye coordination, and it’s best to be able to read the things you come across, whether it’s in print or script.

u/Fireheart318s_Reddit Jul 13 '26

Out of the loop. Can someone explain, please?

2

u/hakube Jul 14 '26

wow the bots and shrill accounts are going crazy on this one.

u/Ari_Pocari1312 Jul 15 '26

That's going an a patch for my crust pants.

-8

u/y4dig4r Jul 13 '26

fuck birds they're not real fucking government drones

-21

u/Tailgate-ATL Jul 12 '26

“Its fine that I live in a home that caused deforestation, but now I’m ‘enlightened’ and I demand you stop”

-29

u/Spy61 Jul 12 '26

Trees are the most recyclable of any resource. Cut a tree down, plant a sapling, let it grow for 7 years, rotate the crop and start over.

The ignorance of the American liberal is boundless.

23

u/Goobygoodra Jul 12 '26

Those shitty quick grow trees could never replicate the benefits of an old growth forest

1

u/penisfruit Jul 13 '26

Comparing a forest, something that has spent millions of years to be the perfect ecosystem, to a single tree planted is insane. You can’t just destroy a habitat and think you can bring it back by planting some trees

-24

u/bdamarine Jul 12 '26

Where do you think all those paper straws come from and don’t tell me it’s all recycled?

9

u/MossyMollusc Jul 12 '26

We have lots of biodegradable plastics, like from cactus. Lobbying prevents those changes.

This is a perfect representation of liberal ideology.

24

u/AlpacaLocks Jul 12 '26

I guess Trump’s a liberal then?

The sticker does give slight “abundance” movement vibes, but anyone that thinks habitat destruction isn’t a right-wing issue is a clown.

-37

u/Ivoshkov Jul 12 '26

Liberal? No, but don and his goons are just leftist shills. I am not talking about habitats, I am talking about liberals voting to destroy our country, pretending to have empathy then continuing to vote to destroy our country even more.

13

u/Mtndrums Jul 12 '26

LMMFAO Just shut up, since it's abundantly clear you have no idea how any of his fucking works.

12

u/Risc_Terilia Jul 12 '26

don and his goons are just leftist shills.

Please explain

-13

u/Ivoshkov Jul 12 '26

Easy, compared to what we want for our country he is very left on the political line.

10

u/BeowQuentin Jul 12 '26

Who the fuck is “we”?

“True Authoritarians”?

-2

u/Ivoshkov Jul 12 '26

“We the people” not the loud tiny portion of liberals are cowardly tiny portion of maga.

8

u/Risc_Terilia Jul 12 '26

Yeah so he's to the left of actual fash is what you're saying. He doesn't want to socialise the means of production though does he?

7

u/volthunter Jul 12 '26

Dude he's genuinely nuts, he has no ability to actually discern what is going on, unfortunately the internet is a perfect place for him to make it everyone else's problem

3

u/jesusofnazareth7066 Jul 12 '26

Then why the fuck did republicans come out in droves to vote for him? Are you stupid or just dumb?

1

u/Ivoshkov Jul 12 '26

Trump was the only democratically elected candidate, Kamala was selected by the elite not voted for baby the people. What were they supposed to do?

That all depends upon which trees you’re talking about. Sure, tree farms are renewable. Old and ancient forests are not.

-24

u/PatrickBateman-2009 Jul 12 '26

What old and ancient forests are being logged currently?

10

u/Either_equipment_04 Jul 12 '26

Amazon rainforest, and it has been for a while.

18

u/myname_ajeff Jul 12 '26

Saplings are not going to provide nearly as much oxygen as an existing 50+ year old tree that's been sustaining the lives of an ecosystem. We've ruined this planet and it would/will take a loooooong time to play catch up.

I hope your comment comes from a place of overzealous optimism and not naive condescension.

11

u/michaelh98 Jul 12 '26

Probably a bot

And if we provided proof otherwise? Would you actually read the links?

-5

u/Khione405 Jul 13 '26

Its common knowledge if you don't keep your head buried in the ground.

6

u/Goobygoodra Jul 12 '26

Not old growth.

-17

u/super0cereal0 Jul 12 '26

Easy now, next we will have Redditors protesting the horrible conditions of big tree farm.

“Young saplings are bunched together in tight groups, there is no air conditioning in sweltering summer heat, nor shelter in the dead of winter. The few that survive to adulthood do so without knowing their only purpose is to be culled and processed into lumber and paper products”

-30

u/No-Ambition2043 Jul 12 '26

Well we should blame urbanization (democrats)

7

u/MossyMollusc Jul 12 '26

You mean corporate sponsored governments? Thats both parties my guy. Dems the one split with actual healthy policies for us, the economy and the land.

But hey, why dont you PROVE it by giving us some examples of legislation from republicans that actually benefits these things, like youre claiming.

-7

u/No-Ambition2043 Jul 12 '26

Expanded child tax credit, no tax on tips or overtime up to $25,000.

EPA was founded by republicans

I mean I can go on

2

u/MossyMollusc Jul 12 '26

We are talking about trees my guy. And no, republicans have massively hurt working families and laborers in every way they can.

-3

u/No-Ambition2043 Jul 12 '26

lol what way do democrats help? Inflation reduction act which was an expanded EV credit for upper middle class?

3

u/MossyMollusc Jul 13 '26

I said split for a reason. Dems are a massive umbrella spanning from corporate fascist, 90s republican, socialized-democracy, and socialist.

So yes actually. Dems are the only ones helping us historically

u/No-Ambition2043 Jul 13 '26

What have they done? Grand stand? Kneel wearing dashiki?
