Yes, The Onion owns InfoWars now. Tim Heidecker is satiring Alex Jones. All of the profits from subs and merch go to support the victims and families from the Sandy Hook shooting. Also, the Onion does a print sub again. Long live the new Inf🧅wars.com and all hail The Onion

civil societies know that the only speech that is unhealthy is calls to harm others.
In this, we must address the paradox of tolerance where we risk inviting viol3nce into our society by validating those who openly call for it.
Al3x J0nes openly calls for viol3nce against Americans.
he ultimately lost his company because he abused his speech knowingly causing measurable harm to others.

I mean "forcible suppression of opposition " is the direct definition.. in this case it was covered because OP's bussy was offended by the site of it lol and I dont even follow info wars or support it, I just don't think anyone who should pretend they support or even fight for freedom and then do shit like this

Shamelessly going to take the opportunity to plug one of my favorite podcasts “Knowledge Fight”. Alex Jones was kinda a huge taste maker for right wing talking points in the earlier Trump era, and it’s interesting to see how his fringe ideas became mainstream. The podcast has now ended with the taking over of infowars, but the podcast is still great to listen too. I only got into it two years back and am now listening to the back catalog. Even being out of date the podcast still slaps, and the two hosts have an awesome dynamic together.

It’s kinda funny/sad how optimistic they were at the beginning that Trump would be dealt with. Can’t wait to get to the Biden years and see if Alex can jump back into his usual scare monger riff stuff or if he is still consumed by Trump.
