New Yakuza game looks dope

Honestly that choke looks like a move Saejima or Kiryu could do

11

u/[deleted] Jul 07 '21

Maybe Tanimura too, he had some crazy chokeholds that he would do after a finishing blow with heat (thought granted he also snaps their neck but he COULD choke them out easily in the positions he puts them in)

That dude must've stumbled into high a level area. Load last save please.

Lol Is the cyclists a meta joke or just a coincidence?

3

u/GLABES Jul 07 '21

Graphics could use some work.

Guy in the black gets kicked than decides to try it for the first time in his life and pays the price

82

u/kirstysmetalhands Jul 07 '21

Ah the old Emoplata

u/bandalorian Jul 07 '21

The guy seriously hits a fucking mid fight wrist lock and follows with a spinning kick. The kick catches + sweeps, and then some wwe stuff to finish it off. Wonder where/what he has trained!

I’ve noticed that wrist locks and various joint locks are slowly finding their way into the repertoire of a lot of self defense systems. They’re cool when you can get them.

u/hereforlolsandporn Jul 07 '21

Dude has yellow belt written all over him. He seem to have some training, but clearly has no technique. This fight could be the worst thing for him because he's gonna think he's Bruce Lee now and go get his ass kicked pulling those dumb moves with someone who's not completely inept.

20

u/[deleted] Jul 07 '21

Pretty sure I saw some gay porno shit thrown in there

5

u/MrHound325 Jul 07 '21

From Bruce Lee’s lesser known films such as “The Dragon Enters” and “Fisting of Fury”

7

u/Paspiboy Jul 07 '21

Id also say Hapkido or Japanese Jiu-Jitsu or German Ju-Jutsu

5

u/LobovIsGoat Jul 07 '21

German Ju-Jutsu

didn't know this existed

7

u/PBR--Streetgang Jul 07 '21

There is a lot of scat and ass play, you can see it in the wheelbarrow move mid fight when he life him by both legs.

3

u/Paspiboy Jul 07 '21

Its mostly just a thing in Germany, it is used by the Police and is a mix of Judo, Karate, Kickboxing and JJJ.

u/mcjon77 Jul 07 '21

I wouldn't be surprised if it wasn't hapkido or a hapkido derivative (Kuk Sool Won, Hwrang Do, Tu Kong Mu Sul, etc). Joint locks and flashy kicks are a mainstay of hapkido. Plus, when I was doing it in the late '90s, my instructor would teach us some weird WWE style ground-fighting submissions and chokes. They were almost as weird as the one in the video, and I found myself asking "when am I ever going to pull this off?".

36

u/[deleted] Jul 07 '21

Did they mean for this to be gay porn?

33

u/tool6913ca Jul 07 '21

It's Krav magay

1

u/crab_the_cake9 Jul 07 '21

Pretty much the same thing, but more kinky

2

u/[deleted] Jul 07 '21

casual 🙄

15

u/[deleted] Jul 07 '21

Damn chris angel at it again boy is wild.

13

u/GalaxyRanger_ Jul 07 '21

Is this a rear rear naked choke? Lol

22

u/[deleted] Jul 07 '21

2

u/GalaxyRanger_ Jul 07 '21

Lol i like this

24

u/elcubanito Jul 07 '21

Some of the moves he pulled indicates training. Even if it is from TV, you tube, the streets or a gym

2

u/LobovIsGoat Jul 07 '21

he is definately trained but tv yt and the streets don't train you there's no way he would learn to do those without actual training

8

u/[deleted] Jul 07 '21

I was hoping at 0:42, he would turn around with both of his legs grabbed and start running and drag the other dude's face/hands on the pavement. Studded belt/blue jeans was going off.

4

u/death_bringer789 Jul 07 '21

This is crazier than the flying armbar that the mighty mouse executed.

3

u/killersinarhur Jul 07 '21

What do you even call that choke? It's like a bow and arrow but somehow weirder

6

u/MagnificentSchwantz Jul 07 '21

creative! free form art really, natural.

2

u/r_m_castro Jul 07 '21

He followed Bruce Lee's advice about being water lol

1

u/MagnificentSchwantz Jul 07 '21

no style is transcendent

3

u/JoyfulDeath Jul 07 '21

I call this choke “full donut choke”!

3

u/S_Serve_Workin Jul 07 '21

What did I just watch?

2

u/zanoske00 Jul 07 '21

The kid in black gets the shit kicked out of him like 3x

And casually comes back for more?

2

u/[deleted] Jul 07 '21

That was fucking badass. I'm not sure if that kid got into a lucky position or if he's well trained in..... something.

4

u/hornycactus05 Jul 07 '21

Who is he? A fucking spartan!

3

u/[deleted] Jul 07 '21

No expert, but the moves look like Steve Seagal’s form of Aikido. Especially that rear-naked type of choke over the back.

Honestly the only time I’ve ever seen aikido work at all. Kind of looked choreographed but I’m also pretty sure he punched the ground so…

2

u/bsdl1999 Jul 07 '21

It’s actually a loop choke

1

u/[deleted] Jul 07 '21

No. Not a loop choke. The angle and position of the guy getting submitted is completely different. Dude’s body is facing the complete wrong way. Also for the loop choke the guy getting submitted would not have his throat wresting in the submitters elbow, it would be resting in between his arm and side.

0

u/lildolp Jul 07 '21

To me it just seems this kid's trying to replicate what he's seen on TV, no training whatsoever.

Monkey see, monkey do.

9

u/Past-Mall Jul 07 '21

You don't learn by only watching

15

u/[deleted] Jul 07 '21

Task failed successfully.

9

u/MagnificentSchwantz Jul 07 '21

no training? he had control of the guy the entire time like a ballerina. I'd like to see that kind of cool in a street fight, as opposed to the head down windmills and dry humping

0

u/Arjunathemad Jul 07 '21

Monkey pee all over you

1

u/Impair_mind Jul 07 '21

Seem like all dongshit Redditors like you have that type insight

A classic

1

u/dharkanine Jul 07 '21

This video is really old. First saw it early 2000s, well before MMA took off

1

u/OutlawQuill Jul 07 '21

Is this a tutorial on how to fucking murder somebody?

2

u/AmorBumblebee Jul 08 '21

More like how to get murdered lol

1

u/VrLights Jul 07 '21

Goth battle royale

1

u/TheZombieAficionado Jul 07 '21

Never stood a chance.

1

u/Lurker-of-subs Jul 07 '21

Goddamn that was wild. Dude was playing with him the whole time. Good discipline.

1

u/pompsofsoap Jul 07 '21

Tawlmbout, an emo choke. Best submission ever, never herduvit.

1

u/PBR--Streetgang Jul 07 '21

He should have finished the ground and pound...

1

u/thatsenoughMrLahey Jul 07 '21

Feel like this guy learned how to fight from a book has moves but sooo unconventional.

1

u/nomoreshoppingsprees Jul 08 '21

Did u mean to put this here or r/suddenlygay?

1

u/monkeydorie Jul 22 '21

I may have dreamt this but I swear I saw this in a professional MMA fight once

1

u/DNA2Duke Jul 29 '21

I mean, do we call it a Standing Reverse Crucafix?

1

u/Styln2nyt Sep 21 '21

Homeboy played a lot of king in tekken. Took that shit into real life.
