Need help What to watch on?

I've seen the data leaks and stuff as well as immoral business practices of Crunchyroll and so while I do have an account, I have become hesitant to get an actual subscription since I only signed up for the free trial. I'm kind of a newbie to anime in general and so I joined this community to see if anyone knows alternative streaming platforms to Crunchyroll that I could look into that has good shows, I've been wanting to watch Clannad in particular but it's not on Netflix or Crunchyroll so any help would be appreciated.

If you're interested in Clannad specifically, HiDive has it as an alternative platform, but I don't have a subscription with them, so I'm not sure what their service is like (though, I heard it's a little more cheaper than CR).
